Solutions30’s teams in Occitanie have been fully mobilized to rebuild network infrastructure and restore telecom services in the Aude department (11), which was hit by one of the most devastating wildfires in recent years.
Beyond the severe human and ecological toll – with over 17,000 hectares of vegetation reduced to ashes – many infrastructures were heavily damaged.
Teams intervened near Coustouges, where a temporary repair allowed services to be restored in surrounding villages. On that occasion, 6,414 meters of cable were laid in a single day. Planning has begun for the repair of infrastructure on poles, with nearly 800 poles affected.
Cabling and installation operations will continue in the coming weeks, with interventions already scheduled.
In the face of extreme heat, teams remain highly vigilant and take all necessary precautions to ensure their safety while maintaining operational continuity.
