Solutions30 France and its subsidiary So-Tec contributed to the development of the Lescheroux hybrid solar power plant (Ain), commissioned by Trina Solar France Systems.
This pioneering 14 MWp project combines a floating photovoltaic installation with a ground-mounted solar plant, making it one of the first hybrid projects of its kind in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
Developed on a former 31-hectare gravel pit, the site demonstrates the potential of repurposing post-industrial land to support the energy transition. Equipped with nearly 20,000 bifacial solar panels, the plant is expected to generate approximately 16,500 MWh of renewable electricity annually, equivalent to the electricity consumption of nearly 7,000 residents.
As part of the project, Solutions30 France oversaw the works, while So-Tec was responsible for the construction of the ground-mounted structures. This contribution highlights the teams’ ability to support energy sector stakeholders in delivering ambitious projects, helping to develop the infrastructure needed to accelerate the energy transition.
