Workplace health and safety remain crucial challenges for every organization. During the July meeting of the FemmesForces Group, an inspiring session was dedicated to this topic, led by Agnès Cano, HSE specialist at Solutions30 South-East.
The conversation began with an analysis of the main challenges and goals in this area. The key indicators used to assess the effectiveness of an HSE system—the frequency rate (accidents involving work stoppage) and severity rate (number of lost days)—are currently trending downward in the South-East region, reflecting the progress made.
Beyond the quantitative aspects, the discussion turned toward gender-related issues, questioning roles that are still too often gendered and associated with either masculine or feminine stereotypes.
The “superhero syndrome” was also raised as a risk factor—when someone tries to manage everything alone, potentially compromising their own safety.
A powerful message emerged: there are no jobs meant for men or women—only individuals driven by the desire to become who they want to be. The company’s leadership, committed to its ESG approach, actively supports initiatives that empower everyone to strive for excellence.
The Group’s continuous safety progress was also highlighted, made possible through the involvement of each and every team member. A true collective effort with visible results.
The session concluded with an open question: how can we adapt work to all human beings, and how can we evolve mindsets?
The conversation is underway.
