Solutions30, a specialist in the construction of photovoltaic plants and the supply of ground-mounted structures, has announced the launch of a 5.2MWp photovoltaic power plant project in Montréal, in the Aude region, on behalf of Reden Solar, a major player in photovoltaic and agrivoltaic development in France.
Solutions30 Energies and So-Tec (a company in which the Solutions30 Group acquired a financial stake in 2024) will contribute their combined technical expertise: full mastery of electrical infrastructure and strong know-how in ground-mounted structures and their foundations. These synergies now enable Solutions30 to offer clients integrated, turnkey solutions for their projects.
Meeting Reden Solar’s efficiency and productivity requirements, Solutions30 will install PV trackers – mechanical systems that allow solar panels to follow the sun’s path throughout the day to optimize electricity generation and increase the system’s energy yield by approximately 15 to 20% compared to fixed systems.
Demonstrating Solutions30’s commitment to promoting coexistence between renewable energy production and agricultural activities, this new project is fully aligned with the growing momentum of agrivoltaics. This expanding approach offers concrete solutions to the challenges facing the agricultural sector, which is grappling with climate change and increasing economic pressures. It confirms the group’s strategic positioning in the photovoltaic market and reaffirms its ambition to support the energy transition by offering sustainable and innovative solutions. The construction began in March, with commissioning planned for July.
At the contract signing, Amaury Boilot, the Group’s Secretary General, stated: “This project confirms the relevance of our strategic partnership with So-Tec, which enables us to offer a turnkey solution. The renewed trust from Reden highlights our positioning and expertise in a key market for the group, and we thank them for it.”
“We are pleased to renew our collaboration with Solutions30 on this large-scale agrivoltaic project,” said Tony Proutier, Group Operations Director at Reden. “Solutions30’s technical expertise, reliability, and ability to deliver turnkey solutions make them a strong partner, aligned with our performance and innovation requirements. Beyond this project, we share a common vision for photovoltaic development and strong professional ethics, which strengthens our commitment to building a lasting partnership with them.”
