On July 7th, an autonomous electronic device charging station was officially commissioned at the Luxembourg Vocational High School in Vesoul. Driven by a pedagogical project led by teachers and students, the initiative was brought to life with support from Solutions30 Energies – Lure branch.
The station, equipped with 12 USB ports, enables users to charge laptops and smartphones in an eco-responsible way, without relying on the conventional power grid. “This project was born out of a shared desire to combine technological innovation, energy autonomy, and environmental commitment,” stated a Solutions30 Energies representative.
The installation has already sparked interest among several municipalities, drawn to the concept. Two new stations have been ordered and are expected to be installed in different neighborhoods of Vesoul before the end of the year.
